It was founded by Awilda Lalande, MBA, a senior healthcare operations leader with more than two decades of experience supporting patients, families, and entire communities through life’s most difficult moments. Her background in healthcare shapes the way this company operates, with structure, empathy, and a deep respect for people in crisis.

In 2025, after witnessing how housing disparities were impacting families during times of personal and financial transition, Awilda Ascends Properties was created to serve a greater need beyond the clinic walls.
